Saturday 25 July (Field Meeting): Bewdley Museum and Bewdley. Leaders Liz Cowley and Andrew Harrison. Meet at Bewdley Museum, Load Street, Bewdley, DY12 2AE (Grid ref: SO 786 753), 10.15 for a 10.30 start. The day will involve a morning guided tour of the museum by Liz Cowley (Collections and Interpretation Officer). In the afternoon there will be a guided walking tour taking in the geological features around Bewdley town. There is no parking at the museum. Nearest car parks: Redthorne House CP (immediately behind the Museum), access from High Street. £5.60 for 8 hours card only. OR Lower Load Street Long Stay Car Park (opposite the Museum), £7.00 all day, cash or card. OR Gardners Meadow CP, Bewdley DY12 2DP, Pay and Display (7 min walk to Museum). Food is available at the museum or bring a packed lunch. Finish: 3.30-4.00.
