Barr Beacon and Pinfold Quarry

Geo-conservation Day: Barr Beacon and Pinfold Quarry, led by Andy Harrison and Helen Sanger. Meet at 10:30 at the entrance on B4154 Beacon Road, opposite Bridle Lane (the southern entrance to Barr Beacon) Grid ref: SP 060967. Wear old work clothes, waterproofs and stout footwear. Please bring gloves and garden tools; loppers, secateurs, forks and spades if you have them. Also bring lunch.
